Basketball Game Preview: Northeast Guilford Rams vs. Grimsley Whirlies

The Northeast Guilford Rams will face off against the Grimsley Whirlies at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Northeast Guilford's offense hasn't had much luck over their past four contests, but Tuesday's matchup will give them a chance to turn things around.

Northeast Guilford is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against South Caldwell on Saturday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Rams were dealt a 57-17 loss at the hands of the Spartans. The Rams were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-7.

Meanwhile, Grimsley had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They enjoyed a cozy 54-35 win over Statesville.

Northeast Guilford's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Grimsley, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
