After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Western Alamance, Eastern Alamance was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Clover Garden School Grizzlies.

While Eastern Alamance might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Clover Garden School scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-20, 22-25, 25-18.

Kayden Manning paced Eastern Alamance's offense, picking up ten kills. Manning got some help from Grace Perry and her 17 assists. Perry was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

When it comes to explaining why Clover Garden School lost, don't look at Nikole Weed. Despite the final result, she had nine digs and two aces.

Eastern Alamance's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-5. As for Clover Garden School, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-2.
