Liberty put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Cesar Chavez Champions 11-5. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won five contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Jaeden Parks and Garrett Theile dominated on the mound. Parks pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit, while Theile struck out six batters over five innings while giving up four earned runs off eight hits (and not a single walk). Furthermore, Theile didn't allow a single walk, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024.

On the hitting side, Cody Croxford was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run and six RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as he's now launched at least one in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Kuczkowski, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double.

Liberty always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .500 or higher in four consecutive matches.

Liberty's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-0. As for Cesar Chavez, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.

Liberty wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 7-6 victory against Sunnyslope on the 12th. As for Cesar Chavez, they have also already played their next contest, a 7-6 win against Thunderbird on the 12th.
