Liberty put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Cesar Chavez Champions 11-5. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won five contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Jaeden Parks and Garrett Theile dominated on the mound. Parks pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit, while Theile struck out six batters over five innings while giving up four earned runs off eight hits (and not a single walk). Furthermore, Theile didn't allow a single walk, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024.
On the hitting side, Cody Croxford was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run and six RBI.
