Recap: Webber Trojans vs. Grayville Bison
The Webber Trojans scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took down Grayville 93-76. The win was nothing new for Webber as they're now sitting on seven straight.
It was another big night for Nathaniel Marlow, who scored 49 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Webber's points. Another player making a difference was Nikkos Ulm, who scored 16 points.
Despite the loss, Grayville still got an impressive performance from Jake Hosman, who dropped a double-double on 33 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hosman has scored all season. Ty'zae Rowland was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds.
Webber is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 26-3 record this season. As for Grayville, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-14.
Webber will head out on the road to square off against Odin/Patoka at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Webber is coming into the matchup with four straight wins on the road, so Odin/Patoka is out to stop a team with plenty of momentum. As for Grayville, they will be playing at home against Mt. Carmel at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Grayville knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matches -- so hopefully Mt. Carmel likes a good challenge.
