Recap: Battle Ground Tigers vs. Prairie Falcons
The Battle Ground Tigers lost against the Prairie Falcons back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Battle Ground took a serious blow against Prairie, falling 68-33. Battle Ground was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-15.
Delaynee Hibbs and Skylar Fridriksson certainly did their best on Wednesday to try and avoid the loss. Hibbs scored four points, while Fridriksson scored eight points along with ten rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hibbs has scored all season.
Battle Ground's loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-4. As for Prairie, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Battle Ground will be home for the holidays to greet Union at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Union is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. Prairie will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on St. Margaret's at 4:30 p.m. on December 27th.
