It was a good run, but St. Peter unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Sunday. They took a blow against the Cardinal Hayes Cardinals, falling 87-46. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 67th, while the Cardinals are ranked sixth).

St. Peter's defeat dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Cardinal Hayes, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

As of now, neither St. Peter's nor Cardinal Hayes have any future games scheduled.
