Volleyball Recap: Nazareth Area Victorious

Nazareth Area's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the Northampton Konkrete Kids by a score of 3-1. The Blue Eagles haven't had any issues with the Konkrete Kids recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Nazareth Area had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 25-27, 25-20, 25-19, 25-15.

Among those leading the charge was Mallory Garland, who had 17 digs and two aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in October of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Annabel Attanasio, who had five aces.

The victory got Nazareth Area back to even at 1-1. As for Northampton, they dropped their record down to 1-2 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Nazareth Area and Louis E. Dieruff will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Northampton, they will host Emmaus at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
