Soccer Recap: Thunderbird Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Thunderbird can now relate to. They fell just short of the Mica Mountain Thunderbolts by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. That's two games in a row now that the Titans have lost by just one goal.

Thunderbird now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Mica Mountain, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-7.

Thunderbird does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mica Mountain, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Saguaro on the 26th.
