Basketball Game Preview: Francis Parker Lancers vs. La Jolla Country Day Torreys

The Francis Parker Lancers will take on the La Jolla Country Day Torreys at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Francis Parker knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 15 contests -- so hopefully La Jolla Country Day likes a good challenge.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, La Jolla Country Day's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell just short of Santa Fe Christian by a score of 58-56.

Francis Parker's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for La Jolla Country Day, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10.

Francis Parker came up short against La Jolla Country Day in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, falling 60-53. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of La Jolla Country Day's Wyatt Tilson, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and ten rebounds.
