Football Recap: Jordan Takes a Loss

After flying high against Cottonwood last Friday, Jordan came back down to earth. The Beetdiggers fell 21-17 to the East Leopards on Thursday. The Beetdiggers lost against the Leopards in their previous head to head back in October of 2020, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 49-0 score last time.

Although Jordan took the loss, they still got scores from Brady Barney and Gavin Gunnarson.

Jordan's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for East, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-6 record this season.

Jordan will head out to square off against Highland at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for East, they will be playing at home against Cottonwood at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Leopards will be up against the Colts' rather soft defense (which has allowed 52.25 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
