Softball Game Preview: Llano Yellowjackets vs. Florence Buffaloes

For the second straight game, Llano will face off against Florence. Llano will square off against Florence at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Llano is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Florence with a sharp 18-7 victory on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Yellowjackets in their matchups with the Buffaloes: they've now won four in a row.

Llano got a massive performance out of Emilie Clopton, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Morgan Williamson, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.

Llano always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Florence and nudges their season record down to 6-6. As for Llano, their victory bumped their record up to 7-14.
