Volleyball Recap: Lutheran Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Faith Academy Flames. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Flames this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

While Lutheran was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Faith Academy's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-14, 25-19.

Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Faith Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lutheran is set to square off against their familiar foe Central Texas Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Faith Academy will challenge rival Live Oak Classical at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
