Basketball Recap: Benavides Comes Up Short

Benavides lost against San Isidro back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Benavides Eagles took a blow against the San Isidro Tigers, falling 83-22. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Benavides' defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for San Isidro, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Benavides will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on McMullen County at 6:30 p.m. on January 17, 2025. As for San Isidro, they will be playing at home against Non Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
