Basketball Recap: Pleasant Valley Comes Up Short

After flying high against Faith Christian last Friday, Pleasant Valley came back down to earth. The Pleasant Valley Raiders fell to the Gaston Bulldogs 46-41. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Pleasant Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Gaston, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-11.

Pleasant Valley will take on Cedar Bluff at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pleasant Valley is facing Cedar Bluff at the right time seeing as Cedar Bluff is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Gaston, they will square off against Jacksonville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
