Softball Recap: Elk Valley Christian Comes Up Short

After flying high against Hannan on Tuesday, Elk Valley Christian came back down to earth. The Eagles took a 12-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Nitro Wildcats on Friday.

Elk Valley Christian dropped their record down to 6-3 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Nitro, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-12.

Elk Valley Christian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 13-10 victory against Cross Lanes Christian on the 24th. As for Nitro, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 15-0 win against Wirt County on the 19th.
