Volleyball Game Preview: Glenn Falcons vs. Elkhart Christian Academy Eagles

The Glenn Falcons will face off against the Elkhart Christian Academy Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Glenn's tournament run continued when they took on Northridge on Saturday. The Falcons took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Elkhart Christian Academy had won three straight games and Kiara Trovatore did her part to make it four on Saturday. The Eagles came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against Fort Wayne Canterbury for which the team can thank Trovatore, who had 25 assists and four aces. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 18 or more in each of the last 13 games she's played.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Elkhart Christian Academy got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-20, 23-25, 15-7.

Elkhart Christian Academy's win came from a few key players Glenn will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Addy Trovatore, who had ten digs.

Elkhart Christian Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. They are 11-4 when they serve at least ten aces.

Glenn's loss dropped their record down to 18-8. As for Elkhart Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 17-11.
