Basketball Recap: Victory Christian Finds Home Court Redemption Against Tabernacle Christian

There's no place like home for Victory Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They took down the Tabernacle Christian Rams 51-37 on Tuesday. The Cardinals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rams, too.

Olivia Smith went supernova for Victory Christian, going 7 for 12 en route to 19 points and three steals. Rylyn Cordero was another key player, putting up six points and four steals.

Despite the loss, Tabernacle Christian still got an impressive performance from Addison Wallace, who posted 19 points. That was a full 51.4% of Tabernacle Christian's points, marking the third time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylee Temple, who earned seven points.

Victory Christian pushed their record up to 6-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Tabernacle Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.

Victory Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 39-37 loss against Southview Christian on the 30th. Tabernacle Christian has also already played their next game, a 47-44 defeat against Faith Christian on the 30th.
