Baseball Game Preview: Carson Colts vs. El Segundo Eagles

Carson is 0-4 against El Segundo since March of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. The Carson Colts will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the El Segundo Eagles at 3:15 p.m.

Carson is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest defeat since March 27, 2024 on Saturday. They lost 10-1 to Bishop Montgomery.

Carson saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaiden Macias, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Meanwhile, El Segundo put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Roosevelt by a score of 4-1.

El Segundo pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs over those games. As for Carson, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
