Volleyball Recap: Carney-Nadeau Comes Up Short

Carney-Nadeau was the 3-0 winner over Munising when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wolves came up short against the Mustangs on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-12, 25-17.

Munising was led to victory by Olivia Cotey and Kristin Joyner. Cotey had 16 digs and one assist, while Joyner had 12 digs. That's the most digs Joyner has posted since back in September of 2024.

Carney-Nadeau now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Munising, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Carney-Nadeau is set to challenge their familiar foe Stephenson at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Munising will square off against rival Bark River-Harris at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
