Football Recap: Terra Nova Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Terra Nova came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Hillsdale Fighting Knights, falling 27-6. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Fighting Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2022.

Despite the loss, Terra Nova still got an impressive performance from Joey Donati, who rushed for 71 yards and one TD, and also threw for 121 yards on seven of 14 attempts.

The critical scores for Hillsdale came from Jacob Bonner, Maximus Miller, Brady Skidmore, and Tyler Essa.

Terra Nova's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Hillsdale, the victory also got them back to even at 2-2.

Terra Nova will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Los Altos at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. This will be the Tigers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Hillsdale, they will welcome Burlingame at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Fighting Knights will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
