Basketball Game Preview: Saraland Spartans vs. Spanish Fort Toros

The Saraland Spartans just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Spanish Fort Toros at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Saraland has three straight victories, Spanish Fort has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Monday, Saraland didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Blount, but they still walked away with a 56-51 win.

Meanwhile, Spanish Fort ended up a good deal behind Gulf Shores on Monday and lost 55-41.

Saraland is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. As for Spanish Fort, their loss dropped their record down to 11-14.

Saraland strolled past Spanish Fort in their previous meeting back in November of 2024 by a score of 75-58. The rematch might be a little tougher for Saraland since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
