Holy Cross is a perfect 8-0 against Valley since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Cougars will head out to take on the Vikings at 5:30 p.m. Holy Cross will be strutting in after a victory while Valley will be coming in after a defeat.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Cougars on Monday. Holy Cross walked away with a 5-2 win over Trinity Lutheran. The victory continues a trend for Holy Cross in their matchups with Trinity Lutheran: they've now won three in a row.

The team relied heavily on Noah Basham, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI. Mason Lanham was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Valley came up short against Doss on Thursday, falling 20-2. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Holy Cross, they now have a winning record of 14-13.

Everything went Holy Cross' way against Valley when the teams last played back in March of 2024, as Holy Cross made off with a 19-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
