Preview: Lincoln Leopards vs. Rock Hills Grizzlies
Lincoln and Rock Hills are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2018, but not for long. The Lincoln Leopards will be playing at home against the Rock Hills Grizzlies on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
On Tuesday, Lincoln blew past Southern Cloud co-op [Miltonvale/Glasco], posting a 64-26 win at home. The win was just what Lincoln needed coming off of a 73-43 defeat in their prior match.
Meanwhile, Rock Hills scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 85-28 win over Natoma. Perhaps unsurprisinly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.
It was another big night for Cooper McDill, who scored 24 points along with six steals and five rebounds. He is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for four games straight. Another player making a difference was Cam Ward, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds.
Lincoln has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season. As for Rock Hills, their victory bumped their record up to 4-10.
Lincoln didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Rock Hills when the teams last played back in January, but they still walked away with a 45-39 victory.
