Football Recap: Monticello Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Monticello managed to slip by Tolono Unity the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Sages took a blow against the Rockets on Friday, falling 34-7. The Sages were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rockets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Monticello's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Tolono Unity, their victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Monticello is set to take on their familiar foe Rantoul at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Tolono Unity will square off against rival Bloomington Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
