Volleyball Recap: Chaparral Comes Up Short

Chaparral lost against Vista Murrieta back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Pumas lost 3-0 to the Broncos.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-14, 25-15.

Chaparral has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-11 record this season. As for Vista Murrieta, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 14-18.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Chaparral will face off against rival Murrieta Mesa at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Pumas have won three straight at home, while the Rams won 12 straight on the road), something that'll have to change. Meanwhile, Vista Murrieta is set to challenge their familiar foe Temecula Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
