Baseball Recap: St. Paul Takes a Loss

St. Paul lost against Tantasqua Regional back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Knights fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 2-1. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Paul saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colin Kreuz, who went 3-for-4 with one run.

St. Paul's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Tantasqua Regional, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.

St. Paul will take on Advanced Math & Science Academy at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The Knights' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season. As for Tantasqua Regional, they will be playing at home against Bartlett at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 8.3 runs per game this season.
