Fulton waltzed into their contest on Saturday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They came out on top against the Lena-Winslow Panthers by a score of 2-0. This was payback for the Steamers, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Kerby Germann paced Fulton's offense, picking up 12 kills. Germann got some help from Brianne Brennan and her ten assists. Germann also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Zoe Kunau, each putting up two.

Despite the loss, Lena-Winslow still got an impressive performance from Lila Grindey, who had 16 digs and one assist.

Fulton's win bumped their record up to 27-8. As for Lena-Winslow, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 20-14 record.

Fulton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lena-Winslow, they will square off against Pearl City at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
