Soccer Game Preview: Centennial vs. Everman

Centennial has won three straight games at home, while Everman has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Centennial Spartans will host the Everman Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Tuesday.

Centennial will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Seguin on Friday. Centennial was the clear victors by a 5-2 margin over Seguin. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Centennial hit Seguin with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Hudson Hodges (3), Christopher Hernandez, and Tarik Kesetovic.

Meanwhile, Everman kept a clean sheet against Mansfield Timberview on Friday. Everything went their way against Wolves as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Bulldogs' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last five games.

Centennial's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Everman, their victory bumped their record up to 13-2.
