Needles put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed past the GV Christian Guardians to the tune of 87-58. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 contests by 22 points or more this season.

Needles was led to victory by Luca Walema and Luke Mills. Walema dropped a double-double with 31 points and ten rebounds, while Mills went 9 of 19 on his way to 28 points and five assists. With that strong performance, Walema is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game. Holden Jones was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Needles smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in eight consecutive matchups.

When it comes to explaining why GV Christian lost, don't look at Nick Madsen. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Wake Rolwing, who posted 15 points.

Needles' win was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 23-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 37.1 points. As for GV Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-14.
