Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 51-50 heartbreaker at the hands of the Friendly Patriots. The Falcons were probably out for revenge after losing 66-62 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Central's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Quincy Taylor Ll, who posted 19 points.
