Preview: Grace Christian Crusaders vs. Eastern Randolph Wildcats
The Grace Christian Crusaders will head out on the road to square off against the Eastern Randolph Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Grace Christian's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 11 games.
Even though Mount Zion Christian Academy scored an imposing 65 points on Friday, Grace Christian still came out on top. Grace Christian had just enough and edged Mount Zion Christian Academy out 67-65.
Grace Christian found their leader in underclassman Nate Jones, who scored 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jimmy Zimmerman, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, even though Southwestern Randolph scored an imposing 70 points on Tuesday, Eastern Randolph still came out on top. Eastern Randolph walked away with an 80-70 win over Southwestern Randolph. The win made it back-to-back wins for Eastern Randolph.
Grace Christian is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 20 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-11 record this season. As for Eastern Randolph, their win bumped their record up to 12-8.
Grace Christian couldn't quite finish off Eastern Randolph when the teams last played back in January and fell 83-80. Can Grace Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
