Basketball Recap: Landstown Takes a Loss

Landstown lost against Kempsville back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Landstown Eagles took a 39-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kempsville Chiefs.

Landstown now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Kempsville, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-3.

Landstown will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Manor at 12:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025. One thing working in Manor's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Kempsville also won't see the court for a while: their next game is against Ocean Lakes at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
