Baseball Recap: Aloha Has No Trouble Against Ida B. Wells

Aloha never let their opponents score on Monday. Everything went their way against the Ida B. Wells Guardians as Aloha made off with an 8-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Jayden Nakamura and David Hoskins made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound, Nakamura pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Hoskins pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. At the plate, Nakamura scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Hoskins scored a run while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Saul Corpus was excellent, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Jordan Sherwood, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Aloha's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Ida B. Wells, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.
