Basketball Recap: Harrisburg Takes a Loss

Harrisburg has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 46-42 heartbreaker at the hands of the Murphysboro Red Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-48 back in January.

Harrisburg's loss dropped their record down to 18-10. As for Murphysboro, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season.

Coming up, Harrisburg will take on Carbondale at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Harrisburg is facing Carbondale at the right time seeing as Carbondale is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Murphysboro, they will be playing at home against Cairo at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
