Volleyball Recap: Indian Springs Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Indian Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Tonopah Muckers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Muckers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in August.

Indian Springs was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Tonopah work for it, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-12, 26-24.

Robyn DiGregorio paced Indian Springs' offense, picking up three kills. DiGregorio were helped by Kylee Muhn and Madison Sawyer, who contributed two assists each. Sawyer also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Peighton Porter, racking up five apiece.

Indian Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Tonopah, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-4.

After both having extra time off, Indian Springs and Sunrise Mountain will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tonopah, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Lone Pine on the 20th.
