Softball Recap: Carlyle Comes Up Short

Carlyle's last matchup with Okawville could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Tuesday. The Indians/Lady Indians came up short against the Rockets, falling 12-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Indians/Lady Indians have suffered against the Rockets since May 3, 2021.

Carlyle's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Okawville, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record this season.

Carlyle will challenge Highland at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Okawville, they will face off against Collinsville at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
