The Linganore Lancers will head out on the road to square off against the Towson Generals at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Linganore is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.
On Wednesday, Linganore strolled past Catoctin with points to spare, taking the game 68-49. That looming 68-49 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Linganore yet this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Linganore to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dylan Hodgson, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Christian Petruzzello was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, Towson pushed their score all the way to 56 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 66-56 to Randallstown. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Towson in their matchups with Randallstown: they've now lost nine in a row.
Linganore's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Towson, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.
