It was a good run, but Ball unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 73-66 to the La Porte Bulldogs. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (58), the Tornadoes still had to take the loss.

Trent Callies continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for La Porte, dropping a double-double on 34 points and ten steals. The contest was Callies' fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caden Watson, who went 6 for 14 on his way to 18 points.

Ball's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for La Porte, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-9.

Ball has already played their next matchup, a 50-38 defeat against Friendswood on the 24th. As for La Porte, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 81-47 victory against Santa Fe on the 24th.
