Volleyball Recap: Bishop Feehan Extends Winning Streak to Five

Bishop Feehan had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Weston on Tuesday. The Shamrocks put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Shamrocks, who have now won five games in a row.

While Bishop Feehan won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-20, 27-25.

Mia Barnes paced Bishop Feehan's offense, picking up 11 kills. Barnes got some help from Keira Reid and her 12 assists. Barnes was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Bishop Feehan's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Weston, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Bishop Feehan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Barrington on the 17th. As for Weston, they will challenge Wayland at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
