Sanford extended their winning streak to three on Saturday, bumping them up to 5-1. They blew past the Sargent Farmers 57-6. That 51 point margin sets a new team best for the Mustangs this season.

Sanford found their leader in sophomore Colton Reynolds, who rushed for 79 yards and one TD.

Sanford was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 375 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 211 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

As for Sargent, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5. While losing is never fun, they can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado football rankings (they are ranked 56th, while Sanford is ranked sixth).

Despite the loss, Sargent still got an impressive performance from River Hodgson, who picked up 55 receiving yards and one score.
