Dexter (Mo.) defeated
Kennett (Mo.) 26-7.
After taking the lead on a touchdown in the second quarter, the Bearcats led 6-0 at the half.
Dexter expanded its lead to 12 points entering the fourth quarter. DHS scored two times in the third, including once on a
Jonathan Foels touchdown run.
Wick stood out for the Bearcats in the win. The senior running back kicked two extra points. He has now scored zero touchdowns on the season.
The Indians' lone touchdown came on a 20-yard run in the third quarter.
A 68-20 Dexter victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.
Dexter (1-3) goes up against New Madrid County Central in a SE Missouri - Central game matchup next week, while Kennett (0-4) locks horns with Charleston also in a SE Missouri - Central game.
