Recap: Augusta vs. El Dorado

Augusta had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 28-20 victory over El Dorado. The success made it back-to-back wins for Augusta.

The contest started off well for Augusta, whose offense put up 21 first-half points. Meanwhile, El Dorado couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 21-0 heading into the break. Although Augusta wound up losing the second-half battle, they still had enough in reserve to win the war.

Augusta found their leader in underclassman sophomore Ryan Andrews, who rushed for 93 yards and 2 touchdowns. Additional support came from defensive powerhouse senior Michael Adams, who racked up ten tackles.

Augusta's win brought them up to 3-5. El Dorado are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6. Both of these squads appear to be finished for the season, as they have no upcoming games scheduled.
