Volleyball Recap: Bradford Prep Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Bradford Prep lost against Christ the King back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bears took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crusaders. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-22, 23-25, 25-15.

Alden Schwartz paced Bradford Prep's offense, picking up 18 kills. Schwartz got some help from Bailey Clark and her 31 assists. Schwartz also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Sofia Swicegood, racking up four apiece.

Anna Cannon had a dynamite game For Christ the King., getting 13 digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Cannon a new career-high. Claire Buchsbaum also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Bradford Prep's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Christ the King, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-5.

Bradford Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against North Hills Christian on the 2nd. As for Christ the King, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Charlotte Catholic on the 2nd.
