Basketball Recap: County Line Indians vs. Dover Pirates
If County Line was feeling good fresh off their 59-29 takedown of Union Christian Academy last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The County Line Indians were beaten by the Dover Pirates 65-34 on Tuesday. The Indians lost against the Pirates in their previous head to head back in January of 2017, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 50-46 score last time.
Dover's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Logan Young, who went 6 for 12 en route to 15 points plus five rebounds and four steals. Kenzie McCrotty was another key player, going 5 for 12 en route to 12 points plus four steals.
County Line's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
County Line will look to defend their home court on Friday against Danville at 6:00 p.m. As for Dover, they will head out to square off against Dardanelle at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
