Volleyball Recap: Faith Christian Comes Up Short

The Faith Christian Lions lost 3-0 to the Victory Charter School Knights on Monday. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Faith Christian was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-13, 25-22.

Despite the loss, Faith Christian still got an impressive performance from Jaelyn Rodriguez, who had 11 digs and two aces. Rodriguez is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Faith Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Faith Christian will venture away from home to challenge Central Florida Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Victory Charter School, they will head out to face off against Academy of Central Florida National at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
