The Cornerstone Charter Academy Ducks's game on Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 54-52 win over Space Coast. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Cornerstone Charter Academy also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2017.
Cornerstone Charter Academy had a senior duo take command as Jayden Lebron scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and Omar Vincent dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Vincent has scored at least 25% of Cornerstone Charter Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Antonio Robinson, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Cornerstone Charter Academy's win bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Space Coast, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
