Baseball Recap: Rancho Cucamonga Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Rancho Cucamonga's offense. They fell just short of the Chino Hills Huskies by a score of 1-0 on Monday. The Cougars were not able to make up for their loss to the Huskies from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Brock Foulds spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on five hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

Rancho Cucamonga has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-6 record this season. As for Chino Hills, they pushed their record up to 15-8 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

While Rancho Cucamonga had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
