Peyton Mills Delivers Best Performance of Season

Peyton Mills produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Cutter-Morning Star to the win on Friday. Mills threw for 329 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 34 yards. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played.

Cutter-Morning Star moved to 1-6 with that win, which also ended their seven-game losing streak. Mills and Cutter-Morning Star will host Glen Rose at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

While Perryville might've come up empty on Friday, Connor Frith wasn't going down without a fight. Frith was dynamite, making five total tackles. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 64 yards.
