Lancaster waltzed into their match on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the North Garland Raiders by a score of 2-0.

Jurnee Cox paced Lancaster's offense, picking up eight kills. Cox got some help from Cydnee Patt and her 17 assists. Cox also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Micheala Bradford, racking up two apiece.

Lancaster now has a winning record of 7-6. As for North Garland, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Lancaster didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Richland on the 23rd. As for North Garland, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Rowlett at 6:30 p.m. The last three games the Eagles have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
