Baseball Recap: Woodlands Takes a Loss

Woodlands's last matchup with Poughkeepsie could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Tuesday. The Falcons came up short against the Pioneers, falling 14-1. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Pioneers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Woodlands' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Poughkeepsie, their win bumped their record up to 3-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Woodlands will head out to take on East Ramapo [Ramapo/Spring Valley] at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Poughkeepsie, they will venture away from home to square off against Barack Obama School for Social Justice at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
